Sound for better nights
and calmer days.

I made these three small apps for myself: one for my ringing ears, one for the long nights, and one for the middle of a difficult day. Each plays warm music that is composed in the moment, so no two sessions are ever the same. They help me every day, and I hope they help you too.

My story

I had very mild tinnitus for years. Then Covid hit, and it got much louder, mostly in my left ear.

Most of the time I cope with it. But there are times when it feels overwhelming, and I wanted something I could reach for in those moments: something genuinely relaxing that might also be doing me some good. So I went looking for the latest research on sound therapy for tinnitus, found notch therapy, and built this app on it.

It is not a cure. But it is some relief, and it is a calm place to put your attention on a bad night.

Then something I did not expect happened. The sound I had built for the therapy turned out to be the most relaxing thing on my phone, and I started putting it on when I simply wanted to relax or try to sleep. So I took the engine at the heart of it and gave it two more homes: one that carries you to sleep, and one for a calm few minutes in the middle of a day.

I use all three every day. Tinnitus Relief most days, Sleep most nights, and Relax whenever a day gets on top of me. This is not a startup and there is no growth plan. These are things I made because I needed them, and now I would like to share them with you.

The music is the difference.

Search the App Store for sleep sounds or tinnitus relief and you will find hundreds of apps playing the same things: looped rain, stock ambient tracks, shelves of white noise. They are easy to make, which is why there are so many of them, and within a week you have heard everything they will ever play.

There are no recordings in Lullfabric at all. Underneath all three apps is a generative music engine, written from scratch. Every note is composed and played in real time from a handful of voices running on cycles that never quite line up, which is how a few simple parts become warm, slow music that does not repeat. Every session is written as you hear it, and no one will ever hear it again.

And because the engine is an instrument rather than a playlist, each app asks something different of it. Sleep asks it to slow, thin and fade. Relax asks it to follow your attention through the body. Tinnitus Relief asks it to shape itself around your pitch, with a careful gap left where the ringing sits.

Three apps, one instrument.

Step into whichever room you need tonight: relief for a ringing ear, a slow descent into sleep, or a calm few minutes to yourself.

What Lullfabric can and cannot do.

Tinnitus is a complicated thing, and it is different for everyone. Lullfabric is not trying to make it go away. It is designed to help you soften its effect, with sound that is built around your own pitch and gentle enough to live with. Where people find relief, it tends to be modest and to build slowly, over weeks. Lullfabric is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for professional care.
